These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the THInsured platform, website, and all related services available at thinsured.com. By accessing or using any part of the platform, users agree to be bound by the terms described herein. If any provision of these terms is found to be unacceptable, use of the platform should be discontinued immediately.
THInsured operates as an insurance guidance and referral platform. The information, tools, and resources made available through the platform are intended solely to help individuals explore coverage options across auto, home, health, Medicare, final expense, and life insurance categories. Nothing presented on the platform constitutes a binding insurance contract, policy issuance, or a guarantee of coverage eligibility. All final coverage decisions rest with licensed insurance carriers and are subject to their individual underwriting processes.
Use of the platform is limited to individuals who are at least eighteen years of age and who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law. Access is permitted for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any attempt to use the platform in a manner that disrupts service, violates applicable law, or infringes on the rights of other users is strictly prohibited. This includes unauthorized scraping, automated access, reverse engineering, or any form of data extraction not expressly authorized in writing.
Certain features of the platform may require the creation of a user account. When registering, accurate and complete information must be provided. Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. Any suspected unauthorized access or breach of account security should be reported promptly to the contact information provided at the end of these terms. THInsured reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are associated with fraudulent activity.
Coverage information presented on the platform is provided for general informational and educational purposes. While effort is made to keep content current and accurate, insurance regulations, plan availability, and carrier offerings change frequently. No representation or warranty is made regarding the completeness, accuracy, or applicability of any coverage information to any individual's specific circumstances. Independent verification of coverage details directly with a licensed insurance professional is strongly encouraged before making any coverage decisions.
THInsured works with a network of third-party insurance carriers and licensed agents. Submission of a request for a quote or information through the platform may result in that information being shared with relevant carriers or agents in order to fulfill the request. These third parties operate under their own terms, privacy practices, and licensing requirements. THInsured does not act as an insurer and does not bind coverage on behalf of any carrier. Relationships with third-party carriers do not create an obligation for THInsured to ensure the availability or affordability of any particular plan.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, THInsured, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the platform, reliance on information provided through the platform, or any interruption or unavailability of services. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
THInsured reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will become effective upon publication to the platform. Continued use of the platform following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates. Material changes may be communicated through a notice posted on the platform, though no obligation to provide advance notice of every change exists.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the applicable jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
